Formed in the Green Room at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Roolya Boolya (Rí Rá agus Ruaille Buaille) are a lively and lovely pair whose music encompasses the essence of all things Celtic and Folk; tradition, storytelling, beauty and of course 'the craic’! Add fiddle, guitars, voices simply made for each other, and button accordion, you've got a musical experience to leave hearts warmer and toes toastier from tapping. In 2025 you may even see a third member join the band! Stay tuned lovely folks!!!!
Roolya Boolya are Damien Neil and Sile Coleman. Damien is a well respected musician and is often seen with bands: Neil Murray, Jo Jo Smith, Alicia & Alanna, and Urban Creatures. Sile has travelled the world singing and dancing with the mighty Irish band, Saoirse!

2025 ... we are back and feeling grateful to be out making music together. We are also super excited to be recording a new album and singing it to life soon, sharing some new songs with yee all. Join us for a sing, a jig, and of course a laugh! See the gigs page for upcoming shows. Since the start of this turn around the sun, we have been honoured to support the legendary Neil Murray, sing up a storm at the Violet Town Music Festival, and have had many other beautiful music-making moments.
